My name is Debbie , and I am a close friend of Brent Gilstraps. I’m creating this GoFundMe because Brent would never ask for help himself , but he truly needs it right now. I’ve known Brent for years and have witnessed firsthand his generosity, resilience, and unwavering dedication

He is an incredible music teacher who has dedicated his life to his students. He loves them deeply and consistently goes above and beyond, not just teaching music but mentoring, encouraging, and believing in each one of them. His impact reaches far beyond the classroom.

Sadly, Brent has fallen on very hard times due to serious medical issues that have forced him to retire earlier than expected. This sudden change has left him struggling to keep up with medical expenses, bills, and basic living costs during an already overwhelming season.

As his friend, it breaks my heart to see someone who has given so much now facing this burden alone. This fundraiser is meant to help ease that financial strain and allow Brent to focus on his health and healing without the constant worry of how he will make ends meet.
