Brendan Geraghty has been a familiar face in Boston’s bar and restaurant scene for over two decades, working at beloved spots like The Place, The Greatest Bar, Howl at the Moon, Sissy K's and Biddy Early’s. His warmth and dedication have helped him build lasting friendships with hundreds of people across the city. Brendan currently serves as a Fire Alarm Operator for the Somerville Fire Department, continuing his commitment to helping others in the community.

Recently, Brendan was diagnosed with advanced Hodgkin’s lymphoma and began chemotherapy treatment on September 8. Despite the challenges, he’s doing his best to keep working part-time, but the reality is that he’ll need to take time off to focus on his health. The costs of treatment, travel to appointments, and everyday living expenses are quickly adding up, and Brendan is facing significant out-of-pocket medical bills.
