Help Brendon Get Back to Work (and Stop Whining)

Hey everyone,

My buddy Brendon recently had emergency surgery, and while he’s going to be okay, he’s currently out of commission—and trust me, he’s not handling it well. He’s been whining to me nonstop about the pain, how bored he is, and how much he desperately wants to get back to work… mostly because that’s where his best friends are ‍♂️ (his words, not mine).

Here’s the problem: Brendon is a freelancer, which means no work = no income. And since he’ll be stuck recovering for at least four weeks, he’s staring down some hefty medical bills without insurance.

If you know him, you know he’d never ask for a handout—but that’s why I’m doing it for him. The goal is to help cover his medical expenses and keep him afloat until he can get back to doing what he loves (and finally stop texting me about how bored he is).

All jokes aside, this guy could use some help from his community right now and he’s the kind of guy that would drop everything to help a friend. He always shows up and never asks for anything in return, so here’s a chance for us to show up for him. If you can chip in, that would be amazing. If not, no worries—just sharing this would help a ton. Let’s get this guy back on his feet and back to work before he drives us all crazy.
