Support Brenda's Recovery & Safe Return Home: UK to MA!

Dear friends and family,

I struggle to write this to ask for support. However, my love and better half, Brenda, needs all the love and support we can give her.

While on a trip to visit friends in the UK, Brenda suffered a horrific injury. She fell down the stairs, tearing the quadricep tendons in both her legs, requiring significant surgery on both legs. Both legs are now in full braces. The right leg must remain locked straight while the left leg has a limited range of motion, making the most basic everyday movements challenging!

Once the doctors discharge Brenda, our amazing friend Sarah in the UK has graciously opened her home as a space for recovery until the doctors clear her to fly. Thankfully, her dedicated and loyal friend Aaron is currently there to support and make sure our girl has assistance to travel home safely. With a complicated and extensive recovery ahead, we are facing many obstacles on the road ahead. The first one being the task of actually getting Brenda home.

Due to the complexity of the surgery and medical concerns, Brenda will require a special flight with a stretcher or specific seating to make the 6.5+ hour flight back to Boston safely.

Brenda is such a light in all of our lives, bringing so much joy to each of us. Let’s all come together to bring our Brenda home! Thank you all so very much for your consideration and for any donations given!
