Brenda has always been the heart of our family—positive, caring, and the one we all lean on, especially after losing our dad when I was barely 18. She’s a survivor, having beaten breast cancer and a brain aneurysm, and now she’s facing her toughest challenge yet: kidney cancer. Brenda recently had to undergo surgery to have a plecostomy bag and tube placed in her kidneys, and she’s preparing for chemo treatments at Wichita Urology Surgery Center. This has been a huge change for her, as she’s always worked hard and been active, but now she’s unable to work and rarely leaves the house. The financial strain is growing, with rent and bills piling up, and it’s been hard for all of us to see the strongest person we know feeling so vulnerable.
Brenda is the glue that holds our family together—she has two kids, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, and she’s always the first to help anyone in need. Even now, she would give the shirt off her back to help someone else. She loves bringing the whole family together for dinners and big cookouts, and she’s always been involved in charity walks and events, especially for breast cancer. Right now, our family is doing everything we can to support her, but we need help. Your support would be a true blessing, relieving so much stress and allowing Brenda to focus on healing instead of worrying about how to pay for her treatment. We want to give her the same strength and support she’s always given us, and any help would mean the world to our family.
Just wanted to update and keep everybody in the loop. she now has started her chemo but she still has like four to five more treatments that she's got to do and cover the expenses of. I want to thank everybody so far that's made it possible for her to at least get started on it. still a long road ahead. So please just keep her in your thoughts and in your prayers.
