Support Brendan's Urgent Dental Care

Hello all,

I am creating this GoFundMe for someone who is very near and dear to my heart, my partner of almost 6 years, Brendan Condon. He is currently facing a dental emergency that is causing him severe pain and affecting his health and quality of life.

Due to complications from a severe infection that had him on the brink of going into septic shock in February and root canals in the past, he had to undergo an emergency procedure this past Saturday which included extracting ruptured molars, bone grafts, and rounds of antibiotics for infection. Although we were able to get this done for him on Saturday, even with a largely discounted rate from the dentist herself, it has exhausted every single dollar we have. The cost of this care is more than Brendan or I can handle on our own right now.

Since the beginning of our relationship, I have watched him try to navigate this tooth pain, up all hours of the night crying, shaking in pain until he exhausts himself completely. This isn't just about pain though; it is affecting his livelihood. As a singer and harmonica player, his mouth is his instrument. This pain and discomfort have been preventing him from doing what he loves the most: performing, recording, and making a living through music.

Watching him struggle not only with the physical pain but also the emotional toll of being unable to perform has been something so alarming it has pushed me to make this GoFundMe today. We feel pressed now with his teeth being removed to try and come up with the funds to get replacement teeth in as soon as possible so that he can continue forward with normal eating patterns.

We've explored every option possible over the past few years. Whether it was applying for loans, attempting to have this deemed medically necessary through health insurance, or even simply trying to put money away to cover this, it hasn't worked out. That's why I am asking for your help. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly to dental work that will change Brendan's life forever. He has never known a life where he hasn't struggled with this pain looming over him that could pop up at any time or having confidence in his smile.
