Support Brenda's Recovery

Brenda Cusanelli, beloved mother, sister, and friend to so many, was brutally attacked in a incident of domestic violence on May 16, 2019. She has multiple skull fractures, swelling of her brain, a very severe traumatic brain injury, potential vision damage, and at this point, her prognosis for full recovery is still unclear. What we know is that she has mounting medical bills and will likely need significant expensive rehabilitation as she continues to heal. Brenda is an incredibly kind and loving person. She has touched so many lives in her role in the speech therapy department at SIUE.
