I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart but also with hope. My beautiful, sweet, and fun-natured friend, Brenda Hayes, is bravely navigating the challenging journey of battling colon cancer. As you can imagine, this is not just a battle against illness but also a battle against the mounting medical bills that are becoming overwhelming.

Brenda has always been a ray of sunshine in our lives, spreading love, laughter, and kindness wherever she goes. Whether it was through her comforting words, her listening ear, or her infectious laughter, Brenda has touched us all in ways that words can’t quite capture, especially with her hilarious ‘one-liners’ that have left an imprint after almost 30 years!

Now, it’s our turn to make a difference in Brenda's life. Our healthcare system, as we know, comes with its challenges and can place an enormous financial burden on patients and their families. Despite having insurance, the costs of treatment, medications, and other related expenses are piling up.
