Help Brenda Carlstrom and Her Caregivers

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out to you today to ask for your support for Brenda Carlstrom, a dedicated community leader and advocate who is currently recovering from a serious surgery away from home. Brenda has been a Columbia Legal Services Board member since 1997, a member of the Hoquiam City Council, and is actively involved in numerous boards, committees, and activities that advance the rights of people living with disabilities.

Brenda relies on her caregivers for daily assistance, and while she has been hospitalized, her caregivers have continued to take care of her home and her beloved dog, Finley Garth. Brenda was expected to return home by now, but due to complications, she must remain in Seattle for a few more weeks.

Her caregivers, who have been with her for many years and have saved her life more than once, are currently without pay. We are asking for your generous support to help keep Brenda's caregivers afloat until she can return home and they can resume their regular pay.
