Hi, my name's Brenda. I'm 34 and reside in Sacramento. I'm a mother of 2 kids; my oldest is almost 16 and my youngest is 8. I live with my father who’s helping me have a place to stay and helping me with my 2 kids, I really can’t continue asking him for help when he already does a lot for us and he can only do so much. Last year, I made some bad decisions that cost me everything I had, like my car, home, and jobs. This year has been very hard for me, having no job, then getting a job but not even starting yet because I'm waiting to get an assignment to start working since July. Now, I'm struggling to pay a few bills and my kids' needs, especially a storage bill that has very valuable and sentimental things of mine and my kids that I can't afford for them to auction off. Mentally I’m drained but trying to fight it.

I understand a lot of us struggle, but I just don't want to give up on myself and my kids because I'm very close to it and I don't want to. So, I just need help to get through these bills and be able to take care of my kids. I'm embarrassed because I haven't been down this bad in a very long time. I just really need help to get through it ; this is my last resort for that.

I am going to get back on my feet for sure; this isn't forever. I will get my life together, and trust me, those decisions I made are a lesson learned and will never happen again. I'll make sure the rest of this year and next year will be and get better! I really appreciate it the help me & my kids recieve from you guys it will never be overlooked and I am happy to know that there are kind people out there who understand & don’t judge.
