My name is Jessica Fichter. My husband, Travis Fichter, and I are asking for help to raise money for his co-worker and friend, Brenda.

On Tuesday, August 5th, Brenda suffered a tragic accident. While at work mowing a retention pond, the mower lost control and was tipping. She fell off the mower, resulting in it falling on top of her arm and sucking her hand into the blades. After releasing herself from the blades, she made two attempts to get help at the surrounding homes before she found Travis. Travis took control of the situation and held pressure on her arm until the ambulance arrived. She is lucky to be here with the amount of blood she lost.

Brenda underwent surgery that day to reconstruct what they could of her hand. She is currently taking it day by day and will have several more surgeries ahead of her. They have checked the blood flow in her thumb and are not sure if she will have mobility in her fingers at this time.

That being said, Brenda will be out of work for an unknown amount of time.

Brenda is a mom of 4 young children and a wife to her husband, Angel. Just a year before this accident, they lost their house in a fire and were still not fully recovered from this. They are kind people that could use the extra help at this time. Any amount of money would help. We ask you to please share, share, share!
