I'm so devastated about my daughter, she is going through such a hard time and is on a long road to recovery. On November 21st, Breighs life changed forever when she was involved in a devastating car accident. After hydroplaning on I-35 and veering back into oncoming traffic after losing control, she was struck by a semi.
The impact of the crash left her with catastrophic injuries: a shattered pelvis and pelvic ring, a ruptured bladder that required emergency surgery, and a traumatic brain injury. She was rushed into emergency surgery, and the weeks since have been filled with worry and frustration over the long road to recovery ahead.
The severity of her injuries means she’s been unable to work since November 21st, and it’s unclear when she will be cleared to return full time. She’s now facing tons of medical bills, and with no income and mounting expenses, she’s struggling to cover even basic necessities like rent and utilities. Her savings are dropping rapidly. She never imagined being in this position, needing to ask for help. Any contribution, no matter the size, would provide relief during this incredibly difficult time.
