My name is Bree, and I am a 33-year-old mom who was recently diagnosed with a rare form of ALS along with multiple other rare diseases after a 7-year-long medical roller coaster of symptoms and decline.

While I have a support system that would take out a second mortgage to get me treatment if they needed, I don't want them to have to do that as they have already been covering all of my expenses since I left my career back in January of this year due to my medical issues. So, I am asking for donations to help alleviate as much of the financial burden as I can so that my family does not have to stress that on top of everything else they are dealing with alongside me.

The immediate need is to cover travel expenses to and from my upcoming appointments at the NIH, where I have been accepted by a doctor who is currently studying this specific type of ALS as well as potential treatments.
