It’s October, and among the joys of fall color, cooler temperatures, pumpkin spice lattes, and Halloween candy, we also acknowledge this time of year as Breast Cancer Awareness month. As you know, breast cancer has become personal for us as we have witnessed our daughter Kelsey’s journey through diagnosis, treatment, and praise God, life as a breast cancer survivor. This year I am inspired to do something to bring hope and healing to those facing this disease.
I’m launching a GoFundMe to support the American Cancer Society in their vital mission to improve the lives of the nearly 270,000 people diagnosed with breast cancer annually. Instead of letting this month pass quietly, I’m asking for your help to make an impact—every dollar counts. Donations support efforts like funding breast cancer research, providing patients with rides to treatment, or connecting patients with trained volunteers who are themselves breast cancer survivors. Together, we can raise awareness and offer real hope to those affected.
If you play Pickleball (the most fun game ever invented!), I encourage you to play using PINK PICKLEBALLS this month. I’m specifically playing with them on October 18. When someone asks you why YOU are using pink pickleballs, remind them about Breast Cancer Action Month, and share this link for them to donate. Love, gratitude, and blessing to you
