We’re reaching out to ask for prayers and support for my cousin Breanna as she begins a difficult and courageous journey.

Breanna was recently diagnosed with stage 3 papillary thyroid cancer, and while the road ahead will be challenging, we believe in the power of prayer and the strength that comes from community.

In December 2024, Breanna was involved in a car accident. While undergoing scans afterward, doctors discovered abnormal lymph nodes in her neck. She was referred to Roswell Park, where further testing confirmed stage 3 papillary thyroid cancer that had already spread to lymph nodes in her neck. On top of this life-altering diagnosis, her body is still healing from the physical trauma of the accident, adding another layer to an already overwhelming time.

Breanna is now facing an aggressive treatment plan, starting with a total thyroidectomy and bilateral central and selective neck dissection. Six weeks after surgery, she will begin radioactive iodine therapy. This journey will require strength, time, and space to heal—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Breanna is a devoted mother to three beautiful children. She is determined to fight through this with grace and courage, not just for herself, but for her kids who need their mom healthy, strong, and present. This chapter of her life will impact them as well, and your support will help bring stability and peace of mind to their family as they navigate this together.

While most of her medical care is covered, we are raising funds to help ease the burden of everything else: travel for treatment, extended time off work, recovery needs, and the many unexpected challenges that come with a diagnosis like this. Any amount is deeply appreciated and will allow Breanna to focus fully on healing without additional stress.
