Help Us Build a Home for Capoeira in Madagascar ✨
Support Capoeira Luanda / Mestre Alegria & Brazilian Arts Connection Madagascar
In the coastal village of Andavadoaka, Madagascar, something extraordinary is happening. More than 80 children gather each week to learn capoeira—the beautiful Afro-Brazilian art form that blends music, movement, discipline, joy, and cultural heritage.
Under the guidance of Capoeira Luanda, Mestre Alegria, and the Brazilian Arts Connection Madagascar, these children are discovering confidence, community, and a positive path for their future. For many of them, capoeira is more than a class—it is a safe space, a source of pride, and a doorway to opportunities they’ve never had before.
Our Goal: Give These Kids a Place to Grow
Right now, our classes take place outdoors, often on rough ground under the hot sun or heavy rain. We dream of building a Barracão—a simple but strong community space where the children can train, learn music, celebrate culture, and stay safe.
We also hope to provide uniforms for over 80 students. For many of them, receiving a uniform is a powerful symbol:
✔️ It gives them a sense of belonging
✔️ It boosts their confidence
✔️ It shows them they are part of something meaningful
Why We Need Your Help
Our project is fueled by passion, not resources. With just a little support, we can:
Build a Barracão for classes and community events
Provide uniforms for all of our students
Continue spreading capoeira, culture, and joy in Andavadoaka
Every donation—no matter the size—brings us closer to giving these children a safe, inspiring place to grow.
You Can Make a Difference
Your contribution will help shape a generation of strong, confident, culturally connected young people in Madagascar. Together, we can build a lasting legacy for this community.
Please donate, share, and help us make this dream a reality.
From all of us at Capoeira Luanda, Mestre Alegria, and the Brazilian Arts Connection Madagascar—thank you. Axé!
