On February 7th, the lives of Brayson’s family and everyone who loves him changed in an instant. Brayson, an energetic and vibrant 7-year-old full of life, sustained a sudden and severe injury that has turned his world, and the world of those closest to him, upside down. For those who know him, Brayson is the kind of kid who brings energy into a room and would help anyone in need. But right now, Brayson is facing the toughest battle of his young life, and he needs us to be there for him.

On that tragic day, Brayson suffered a significant leg injury that required an immediate response from paramedics and a series of extensive, life-saving surgeries. He is currently at Baystate Medical Center in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Yesterday, he underwent a four-hour emergency procedure to repair a deep 8-inch laceration to his artery. The skilled surgical team worked meticulously to repair the artery, reconnect tendons and veins, and address the damage down to the bone. He has also undergone follow-up plastic surgery to address the wound.
