Support Brayden's Fight and Recovery
Donation protected
Hi friends,
As most of you are aware by now, the Mickel family is needing our help. Brayden and his girlfriend, Izabel, were almost home when a truck hit them from behind, immediately taking Izzy from us and leaving Brayden fighting for his life.
Many have reached out asking how they can help. Brayden continues this fight every day, but this is going to be a long road. He already has an immense amount of medical bills. Next week, he and his mom are being transferred to Atlanta for Brayden to receive rehabilitation from Shepherds. Then due to the extent of Brayden's injuries, he wiIl not be able to work for an undetermined amount of time.
Any amount you feel compelled to donate will be a blessing. Even if you can't contribute, please continue to pray for this family, for Izabel’s family and friends, and for Brayden’s healing.
Thank you so much!
Latest update 04/25/24
The healing process begins today. Brayden and his mom arrived at Shepherd Center in Atlanta yesterday and it was the toughest day so far, besides when he woke up in terror when they removed the ventilator.
They met with his team and they are phenomenal! They are putting his plan together this week as they meet and interact with him.
They found another fracture in his arm so he had a broken rib, broken scapula and a broken bone in his arm on the left side. This is encouraging as this would explain his left arm weakness.
We have a very long road to recovery. Jamie will be living in Atlanta with Brayden for an undetermined amount of time. Of course, this is going to be a financial burden for Brayden. We are so grateful to everyone that has blessed them so far in this journey. Every dollar they receive lessens his burden when he returns home.
