Help Braxton Reach His Dream: Junior Cross Country Olympics in Indiana!

Meet Braxton: An 8-year-old boy with a heart full of dreams and a spirit that can’t be stopped. Braxton has special needs, and though he has trouble speaking, his determination and passion for running speak louder than words ever could. Despite the challenges he faces, Braxton has worked tirelessly to pursue his dream of competing in the Junior Cross Country Olympics in Indiana.

Braxton is a proud member of the NorCal Striders, a Shasta County youth running club where he has become known as the "Energizer Bunny" because of his unstoppable attitude. Braxton has an incredible love for running. It’s his way of expressing himself and connecting with the world around him. Through his dedication and hard work, he’s made it to the point where he’s on the path to the Junior Olympics.

Why We Need Your Help:

The road to the Junior Cross Country Olympics comes with significant costs—travel, registration fees, accommodations, shoes. We want to give Braxton the opportunity to compete, but we need your support to cover the expenses. Your donation will help with:

• Travel expenses: Flights and transportation to the events

• Entry fees: Registration and participation costs

• Accommodation: Lodging for the duration of the event

• Equipment: Braxton needs a new pair of running shoes.

Braxton has proven time and time again that with hard work and persistence, he can overcome obstacles. Now, he needs our community's help to take the next step. Every donation, no matter the size, will bring him closer to his goal.

If Braxton does not qualify for the Junior Olympics, 100% of the funds will be used to create future scholarship funds for him and to help other NorCal Strider families in need.

Braxton’s journey hasn’t been easy. He faces challenges that many people don’t see, but that doesn’t stop him from giving everything he has to his training and his dreams. Braxton may not be able to speak as clearly as others, but his love for running, his drive, and his spirit are loud and clear to everyone who meets him. He has shown incredible resilience, and he’s ready to show the world just what he can do.

Braxton isn’t just running for himself—he’s running for every child who faces challenges and shows that with support and perseverance, anything is possible.
