Hello everyone, my name is Braxton and I am going to be having back surgery on the 16th of May. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting this to come for another 15 years or so but here we are.

Me and my wife are only a year into our marriage, new home owners, and trying like many of you to live a life in a time where the world is not on our side. This is definitely not how we were expecting to celebrate our first wedding anniversary.

I'm asking if you can to help lend support to me and my wife as we fix an issue that we were not expecting to fight through this year.

I watched my mom and dad go through these surgeries and the struggles they had to go through for months afterwards. My sister is fighting through the same pain day in and day out that I am. I tried almost everything under the sun to avoid this as surgery is something nobody wants to go through and in the end it failed to make a difference.

Going through the last several months of losing my job that I absolutely loved and devoted myself to due to the initial back injury, fighting for answers through medical visits and now having to take a short leave of absence from my new job have left us a little short handed.

Anything helps, even just kind words and encouragement to cheer me on.
