Bravo Nondo, a beloved 45-year-old resident of Albany, New York, was tragically killed in a vehicle-pedestrian accident on December 18, 2025. Early that morning, Bravo stopped his car on the Exit 14 ramp of Interstate 87. While police are still investigating the exact reason, our family believes Bravo stopped to help another driver—an act that truly reflects the kind of person he was. As he walked toward the rear of his car, he was struck by another vehicle. Despite the immediate response of emergency personnel, Bravo was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is currently under investigation by the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Attorney General’s Office, as is standard procedure for accidents involving law enforcement officers.

Bravo was more than just a victim of a tragic accident—he was a father, a friend, and a man whose giving heart touched everyone around him. He never hesitated to help others, whether it was offering his time, his strength, or simply his kindness. His love for his family was unwavering, and being a father was one of his greatest joys and proudest roles. Losing him so suddenly has left a deep void in our lives, and we are struggling to come to terms with this heartbreaking loss.
