Hi, my name is Christiana. I'm 25 years old and my daughter's name is Y'Delya. On March 11th, 2025, I left my daughter at home with trusted company while I went to Walmart. While I was at the store, I got the worst call of my life. My daughter got ahold of a firearm that wasn't put away by a guest, and she shot herself in the pelvic area. The bullet ripped through her urethra tube and exited out her right buttock. She was discharged from the hospital on March 27th, 2025. She is now on a catheter and colostomy bag because of this incident. She's such a brave and resilient little girl who didn't deserve this, never in life but especially not at 3 years old. Her urethra tube is completely destroyed, and I'm trying to raise enough money to get her a urethral tube repair in another state that specializes in this type of surgery. She has a long healing journey ahead of her as well as more surgeries to come. I am appreciative of anything that anyone is willing to give, even if it's just a share of my daughter's story.
