Support Brave ‘Bear’ After Dog Attack
Donation protected
Please help a local family. Emma Davis, a single Mother from Longwick is looking for help following an attack of her beloved dog ‘Bear’ a friendly and lovable ball of fur, a 1 year old Chow Chow.
On Saturday, while walking home on a lead, Bear was approached by a Cane Corso. For reasons unknown the other dog latched onto Bear’s neck and locked his jaw. Emma, the owner and witnesses to the incident tried all they could to get Bear apart and safe but were unable, by the time Bear was released he had suffered a significant injury to his neck and required emergency treatment to save his life.
Companion Care @ Pets at Home done an amazing job in caring for Bear’s wounds, blood loss and muscle damage during an operation and are continuing to support him during his recovery.
Unfortunately the result of the attack has resulted in a £1,600 vet bill, if things then couldn’t get worse Emma established her ex partner has cancelled Bear’s pet insurance which has left the responsibility of paying on Emma’s shoulders. With Christmas just gone both Emma and the other owner (who has supported where able) unfortunately do not have the funds to cover the bill. So our ask is, to help a mother in what we know to be the most broke month of the year, so their worries can be on Bear’s recover and not trying to find the funds that saved Bear’s life.
If you can spare anything, even a £1 to support them they would be eternally grateful. With love and thanks from Emma and her family and most of all Bear xxx
