Support Brantley's Battle with Epilepsy

Brantley was diagnosed with epilepsy a few months back. We have since been trying to get his medicine right to eliminate his seizure activity.

On Thursday, he had a seizure during PT, but we got it handled. On Friday, he had a seizure at daycare. Thankfully, his daycare is a medical daycare facility and is trained in what to do in these circumstances, but they called me and I rushed to daycare from work. They ended up calling an ambulance and I rode with him to children's.

They intubated him, putting him on a ventilator to breathe for him. They moved him to the PICU at Cincinnati Children's. They removed the tube, but he seized again, so they replaced the tube and he has been heavily sedated and remained on the tube ever since. He has had multiple procedures to help him during this time.

This has been the hardest thing I have ever gone through as a parent, but I know God only gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers
