Hi, I don't usually do this. I'm trying to get through a rough spot in my life these days. I moved to Las Vegas back in May. Little did I know that my job would let me go a few months later. I've been unemployed since August, living off savings.

With a recent health scare that I wasn't expecting, I was hospitalized for a week without insurance, and I'm not looking forward to that bill. I have Medicaid pending. I was diagnosed with PE (Pulmonary Embolism), had a bilateral thrombectomy done to remove the clots in my lungs, and will be on blood thinners for the rest of my life.

Things are starting to look up. I have a part-time cashier's position with a local grocery store here in Las Vegas, starting soon! Another part-time position is pending. Just need a little extra till my paychecks start coming. I have monthly bills that are due soon. After I pay my rent, my savings will be almost depleted till my paychecks start coming. It's hard for me to ask for help.

Branigan, my dog, is hoping for help so his momma can keep a roof over our heads and food too! Thank you to anyone who can help. I know times are hard for everyone these days. Blessed I am to be alive after my health scare.
