Support Brandy's Final Journey

Hello friends and family,
As many of you may know, Brandy has been battling a rare form of breast cancer and then also the rare Leptomeningeal Brain cancer for the better part of the past year. Sadly, at only the age of 38, that battle will soon be coming to an end. It's obviously not the outcome any of us had wanted. She gave it everything she had but, in the end, cancer sucks and sometimes wins these battles.
I'm always reminded of the Stewart Scott speech from when he received the Jimmy V perseverance award.
"When you die, that does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live and in the manner in which you live.
So, live. Live. Fight like hell. And when you get too tired to fight then lay down and rest and let somebody else fight for you."
One day we will live in a world in which people don't have to worry about losing loved ones to this stupid disease. But for now, we just have to deal with it and live the best lives we can.
As she's been off from work for a long time throughout this fight, she has no life or burial insurance so I'm setting up this go fund me to try and help offset the cost of funeral services/celebration of life and cremation and then any unforeseen costs. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. I know money is tight right now for a lot of us, so even if you can't donate if you would be kind enough to share and help spread the word that would be amazing as well. if for some reason there is money left over then i'll donate it to breast cancer research.
