Hello everyone, my name is Alexis Pokovich and I’m Brandy Hamilton's daughter. As many know, my mom Brandy found a lump about 2 years ago. Fast forward, she had it removed and results have come back. She was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was going to start radiation last Monday, but she had an MRI done of her chest and we found out that the cancer has grown. She will no longer be doing radiation and the next step will be a double mastectomy. This surgery is scheduled for August 19th. This is not the news we wanted, but she can get through anything. If you know my mom, you know she is a strong woman; she is stubborn and she is a fighter. With all this being said, our family needs prayers.
