Hello all, my name is Brandy and I recently received the shocking news that I've been diagnosed with colon cancer that has metastasized to the liver.

I have two beautiful children that are my world: Bree, who is 17 years old and going to be a senior at Ocean Springs High School this year, and Grayson, my eight-year-old son who will be in third grade at Magnolia Park this year. Although I have a wonderful job working with special needs individuals, if I don't work, I don't get paid. I am considered an independent contractor. I have at least a year of chemo and another surgery scheduled to remove the spots from my liver. My health insurance has stated that they will not cover me going out of state to get this life-saving surgery. That's why I'm hoping to raise funds for expenses and hopefully get the surgery paid for. Any little bit will help!
