Brandy Arnold, a dedicated Roanoke Valley teacher, recently underwent surgery and treatment for adenocarcinoma. Brandy’s husband, Jason, is also recovering from a hernia surgery. As she continues her recovery and remains out of the classroom, the financial strain of medical bills and everyday expenses is becoming overwhelming.

For 17 years, Brandy has been a steady, uplifting force in our school community. Whether staying late to help a student, stepping in to support a colleague who needs an extra hand, or coaching our fantastic forensics team with unmatched dedication, she consistently goes above and beyond. Her classroom has become more than a place to learn; it’s a warm, welcoming space where students feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow. Through every lesson, conversation, and competition, Brandy has shown commitment to helping others succeed, and our school is better because of it.
