Help Me Recover, Rebuild, and Reunite With My Sons

My name is Brandon, and I am asking for help during the most difficult period of my life.

For years, I worked in physically demanding trades, leading crews, solving problems, and taking pride in providing for my family. I never imagined that a single car accident would change nearly every aspect of my life.

As a result of the accident, I suffered multiple serious injuries, including a traumatic brain injury, whiplash, severe rib injuries, a third-degree burn, and significant damage to my right shoulder that ultimately required surgery to repair a torn labrum and bicep tendon. Since the accident, I have undergone extensive medical treatment and more than 100 physical therapy sessions in an effort to regain my health and ability to work.

The physical injuries have been challenging, but the financial and emotional consequences have been just as devastating.

Because my injuries limited my ability to perform the work I had built my career around, I fell behind financially while focusing on medical appointments, rehabilitation, and recovery. As my situation worsened, I also fell behind on child support obligations. This has created ongoing legal challenges that I am actively working to resolve through the proper channels.

Perhaps the most painful consequence of this experience has been the impact it has had on my relationship with my two sons. Being unable to consistently provide financial support during my recovery has strained my ability to remain involved in their lives the way I want and need to be as a father. Every day, my goal is not only to recover physically but to rebuild stability so I can be fully present for them again.

I am not looking for a handout. I am looking for a chance to get back on my feet.
