Support Brandon's Recovery Journey

Hello! This is Holly Hall Brandon’s sister. On Sunday he was hit head on by a drunk driver. Here is the news article from 10tv: A motorcyclist is seriously injured after being hit head-on in the Short North Arts District early Sunday morning. According to the Columbus Division of Police, the crash happened around 3:05 a.m. on North High Street, near the East Prescott Street intersection. A Harley-Davidson Street Glide was traveling southbound on North High Street when a BMW M3 heading in the opposite direction went left of center and struck the motorcycle head-on, police say.

He is currently fighting for his life in ICU on a ventilator. He has a skull fracture down to jawline with bleeding and swelling, spinal fluid leaking out of his ear which has caused him to have a lumbar drain out in, lumbar 1 fracture, broken nose, left cheek bone broken along with another bone on that side of his face, multiple lacerations on his left hand requiring stitches!

This is going to be a long road as long as he pulls through this brain/skull injury! With this he will be off work for a while and will have bills that need paid and his boys currently live with him and will need to eat. Any help will be appreciated!!

Updates: Surgery 08/27/24 on ear, drainage, and removed bone. He can no longer hear out of his right ear. He may eventually get a cochlear implant. Surgery 08/29/24 to repair tendon and ligament damage on both hands and fingers/thumb. He may be moving over to Rehab today to start his long road to recovery.

Update 09-18-24

Brandon still has a long recovery with many appointments and a couple more surgeries in the upcoming months. He is not allowed to work or drive so this is putting a financial burden on him and I am doing my best to help take that stress away. We applied for social security disability and found out today that can take 4 months to be approved but there is a 5 month waiting period so the soonest he could get any help will be January-February.
