Hi everyone, my name is Brandon.
Please help Me Rebuild My Life After an Unjust Deportation.
I was born and raised in Cali Colombia , coming from very humble beginnings. In 2022, I legally came to the United States searching for peace ☮️, safety, and the chance to build a better life — the American dream . From the first day I arrived, I did everything the right way ✅: I followed every law, obtained my work permit, paid my taxes, and lived an honest life filled with kindness and respect toward everyone. Over time, I built something I was truly proud of — my own small dog walking and pet care business ❤️.Working with dogs became one of the greatest joys of my life. Each one of them felt like family. Their love and trust gave me purpose every single day .
BrandogCare was born from my deep love for animals and my dream to give them the same care and affection their owners would. Every walk, every visit, every wagging tail has been my daily motivation. Today, more than ever, I hold onto the hope of continuing to care for the dogs who have given me so much joy — and to rebuild this project filled with love, trust, and devotion. ❤️
But everything changed suddenly. I was unfairly detained and deported by ICE despite doing everything legally. They took me away from my dog — my best friend, my family. I still remember his eyes waiting for me, not understanding why I never came back. They treated me like a criminal. I was chained from head to toe ⛓️ — my hands, feet, and waist — and forced onto a plane ✈️ from Virginia to Louisiana, completely restrained. They even threw food at me so I could try to eat while still in chains. I spent around 20 days in detention under terrible conditions — hungry, cold, and unable to sleep.
The emotional and physical pain was unbearable. In a matter of seconds, I lost everything I had worked so hard to build: my home, my job, my dogs, and the life I had finally created with so much effort.
What makes this even harder is that I was betrayed by the person who was supposed to protect me. My previous lawyer took advantage of my trust during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life. He charged me $7,000, promised to take care of my case, and then did nothing. He stopped answering my calls, ignored my messages, and never showed up when I needed him most. Because of his negligence, I lost my chance to defend myself properly —and that’s what led to my deportation. I trusted him with my future, and he walked away without remorse, leaving me broken, far from my home, and separated from my dog.
I couldn’t even bring my belongings; my clothes, documents, and personal memories were all left behind . Now I am back in Colombia with nothing. I’m asking for help to hire an immigration attorney ⚖️ who can help me appeal my case and fight to return to the life I built with dedication and love ❤️. The lawyer handling my case charges $20,000 — an amount far beyond what I can’t afford on my own.
Every contribution, no matter how small, means the world to me ✨. It brings me closer to reuniting with the community and the dogs that became my family . Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ for reading my story and for helping me fight for a second chance at life .
