Support Brandon’s Family As He Fights For His Life
Donation protected
On May 31, 2025, Brandon Lethbridge, a 28-year-old husband to Kiera, and father of two young boys (Braxton 5yrs & Bensyn 3yrs) was severely injured in a workplace accident. Hired only 2½ weeks earlier, he was the primary ‘bread winner’ for the family and very excited to start this new opportunity as a heavy equipment operator and grow within the company. On the day of the accident, Brandon had been on his only day off (was working 6 days a week) and was spending time with his family and friends at the local fair. He received a call to go into work to help contain an active fire that had started that afternoon and was spreading through the worksite. Brandon bravely accepted the call to duty and went to work. His last words to his sons were, “Daddy has to go fight a fire now, but I’ll tell you all about it when I see you in the morning.” He kissed his children and wife goodbye, and he never returned home.
At some point during the night, Brandon ended up in a VERY unsafe position as a result, he suffered significant burns to 65% of his body and is currently in critical condition on a specialized ICU Burn Unit.
Kiera works casually 6 hours per week and has no benefits to cover anything the family might need. With no benefits for Kiera and the boys, we are looking for donations to help her with household expenses and operating costs, including house expenses, food for the family, counselling services for Kiera and the boys now, and the whole family to follow. In order for Kiera to visit Brandon daily, she has a 30-minute commute each way adding transportation costs, including fuel, vehicle insurance and parking fees. Not to mention, the boys are not permitted to visit their Daddy at this time in the hospital. Which means there will be childcare expenses, as family won’t always be able to watch the children. Also, medical staff have advised that his aftercare in the future will be extensive for which an actual dollar amount cannot be determined as of yet. This is because it will be based on the severity of his injuries. It is expected to be a long and costly road to recovery.
Brandon is such a kind and giving person as well as a huge family man. At 6’3” he is known to many as a gentle giant teddy bear, with the softest of hearts. There isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for anyone including a stranger on the street! He would drop everything just to help someone in need. One Christmas morning, he dedicated his day to the homeless soup kitchen dishing out food and engaging in conversations. He is an uncle to 5 nephews and enjoys spending time with each and every one of them when he is able. He is not yet aware that 1 out of 3 sister is expecting, and another niece or nephew is on the way! He will be ecstatic! This is Brandon Lethbridge. He loves all things cars, playing video games and spending time with his family and Koda bear (also known as his other best friend). When he was able, they were often seen driving around together. Brandon needs to come home to his family. His family needs your prayers and your help. Brandon, Kiera and the boys have a saying that they say to each other several times a day. Both parents have matching tattoos as that’s how much this saying means to them - “I love you soooo much”. The family thanks you in advance, soooo much!
