Support Brandon Sieckman in Overcoming Financial Hurdles

Hi. I'm Brandon Sieckman.
They say never be afraid to ask for help, so here I am, asking for help. I never really financially recovered from COVID. I lived with family and friends before I was able to get my own place again. I managed to, barely, during an open bankruptcy, no less.

Even before my bankruptcy cleared, I was consistently just scraping by. Although it was slow and unreliable, my comic sales supplemented my wages to help with bills and food. Missing a day of work was catastrophic.

I switched jobs in August, and the new one did not follow through on hours or wages. I started to get behind financially, especially on rent. I had to sell everything I owned to catch up on back rent and other late bills.

I switched jobs again about six weeks later; the same thing happened: the new position did not follow through on wages or hours. The position was also seasonal, and there was an end date.

I am working now, but again, have fallen behind on my bigger expenses, mostly car and rent. I've borrowed enough money from friends throughout this process, and I'm sure they are sick of me asking. Catching up while still trying to take care of the bills that are coming in has proven to be a challenge. This is where I need help.

The only amount remaining on my car is $1800, and they want it in a lump sum (or they are going to take it, which then affects everything else). Electricity, which is behind, is scheduled to be shut off on 12/3. Rent is due at the exact same time, and I'm sure they are sick of me asking for extensions.

While I'm able to take care of most of the bills coming in, it's those two that are currently presenting a hurdle. I can't lose my car as that is my only source of transportation. Without it, I can't get to work, which, then nothing gets paid and I'm homeless.

I'm currently searching for a buyer for all of my comic inventory, and while I'm confident in me being able to sell it all, it's not going to be enough.

This is where I'm humbly asking for help. Any amount will help as I'm trying to get back on my feet and continue my life. Thank you for reading my story and consideration. I am humbled and grateful.
