My name is Brandon Rogers. Most of you know me and for the ones that don't. Here's my story. Back in November 23 I loss my job. I was on unemployment. 3 months ago I started with Eagle Disposal getting life back on track after losing Job. I am the sole provider for my family of 6 working two jobs my whole life. Fast forward to Aug 27th 1:00am I woke up in alot of pain. I was in the middle of a massive heart attack, not knowing I drove myself to the E.R. and that's where everything changed in a instant. Burlington kept me alive so I had a fighting chance to get to St. Luke's. Time was of the essence, flight for life was on way. I was in and out an confused. St. Luke's was able to successfully place a stint and save me. My LAD was 100%blockage. I spent 4 days in ICU being monitored. My heart sustained damage to the muscle/tissue. It's currently 30%, I was sent home with a Life Net Vest that will monitor my heart, cardiac arrest it will shock me. Will wear for 3 months and have follow up. Goal is hopefully heart gets to at least 40%. If it doesn't I may have to get defibrillator or pacemaker put in. Time will tell and heal. Unfortunately I can be off work 2-4 months which is detrimental being the sole provider. On top of the care from Clair and are 7 month old baby maverick. It's alot all at once, I'm blessed to be giving a second chance but long road ahead still. I understand we all have bills and issues and different circumstances. Anything will greatly be appreciated and a blessing. Even if you can just share.
Much Love The Rogers
