Support Brandon Ramirez's Road to Recovery

On Saturday, August 9th my 19 year old  brother Brandon Ramirez was in a serious car accident leaving him in critical conditions with both of his legs broken and some brain trauma. He underwent surgery that night. Both leg surgeries went well with no complications. Later Sunday afternoon/ evening he had a reaction to some medication and with the brain trauma it cause him to have multiple seizures and his body went into shock. He was intubated for 1 week and in ICU for a week and half. He has been in the hospital ever since . Thankfully he is now recovering and able to eat and slightly talk on his own. However he was transported to Baylor Scott & White rehabilitation in Dallas Tx on Wednesday the 28th to seek advanced treatment for his brain trauma and therapy. We are creating this fund to help out both my parents with any expenses while in Dallas and other medical expenses as they have been off work since the accident to be with my brother in this time of need. We have yet to know how long my brother will be out for but are very thankful to God that he is still alive, healthy and showing great signs of improvement. My family and I thank everyone who has supported and helped our family out during this difficult time of need. We also thank those who donate and may God bless you all.

El sábado 9 de agosto, mi hermano Brandon Ramírez, de 19 años, sufrió un grave accidente automovilístico que lo dejó en condiciones críticas con ambas piernas rotas y algún trauma cerebral. Fue operado esa noche. Ambas cirugías de piernas salieron bien y sin complicaciones. Más tarde el domingo por la tarde/noche tuvo una reacción a algún medicamento y con el trauma cerebral le provocó múltiples convulsiones y su cuerpo entró en shock. Estuvo intubado 1 semana y en UCI semana y media. Ha estado en el hospital desde entonces. Afortunadamente ahora se está recuperando y puede comer y hablar un poco por sí solo. Sin embargo, fue transportado a rehabilitación de Baylor Scott & White en Dallas Tx el miércoles 28 para buscar tratamiento y terapia avanzada para su trauma cerebral. Estamos creando este fondo para ayudar a mis padres con cualquier gasto mientras estén en Dallas y otros gastos médicos, ya que no han trabajado desde el accidente para estar con mi hermano en este momento de necesidad. Aún no sabemos cuánto tiempo estará de baja mi hermano, pero estamos muy agradecidos con Dios porque todavía está vivo, sano y mostrando grandes signos de mejoría. Mi familia y yo agradecemos a todos los que han apoyado y ayudado a nuestra familia durante este difícil momento de necesidad. También agradecemos a quienes donan y que Dios los bendiga a todos.
