Support Brandon & Kayson's Fight for Stability

My name is Brandon Callaway and my son’s name is Kayson. I am a full-time single father on disability due to stage 5 kidney disease and heart disease. I was blessed to only be on dialysis for a year. I received a kidney donation a couple of years ago but I am still fighting an uphill battle due to many following complications that stemmed from my illnesses. I have had many surgeries in the last couple of years. I have received many blood transfusions as well as many heart catheters. I have had a couple of blood clots during all this due to my fistula in my arm. In the past couple of years, I have had to spend months in the hospital at a time because of all this. I battle with extreme high blood pressure. At the moment, I am waiting to have a back surgery. Not to mention, I may have a broken foot as well. There’s a lot more that could be said but I believe this sums it up well.

During all this, I left the street life behind and gave my life to GOD!!! I thrive to live for CHRIST JESUS now and desire to be in a relationship with our LORD and Savior. After coming to GOD and making Him the head of my life, I lost everything but gained so much more. I am also a full-time student working towards a double major in Biblical studies and psychology. We were evicted from our home where I lived for 10 years. I lost both my vehicles, bought another one and just recently the transmission went out so now we have no transportation at all, as well as no family or support for the most part. We have been living with my younger cousin for over a year now, sharing a bedroom as well as sharing a bed. I am 37 and my son is 5 so you could imagine how difficult and uncomfortable it can be for the both of us at times. I know my son misses having his own room and it definitely gets challenging for me as well not having my own space to complete my schoolwork without distractions. Before I recently lost my car, I was doing DoorDash to make ends meet and constantly looking for a job. Finding a job as a single parent is difficult because I have nobody to watch him and I can only work during school hours. We could really use all the help we could possibly get right now. Any donations are sincerely and greatly appreciated. I am not able to get my son to school / daycare and I have excessive doctor appointments that I am not able to get to as well. Not to mention that I am now unable to DoorDash or continue searching for a job because of no transportation. My life depends on me keeping my doctor's appointments. We are very much in need of assistance with getting transportation and possibly an apartment. I know that that’s a lot to ask and I had to put my pride to the side to make this GoFundMe. I desperately need help and have nowhere else to turn to. We would greatly appreciate all your prayers as well.
