September 19th, Brandon Fisher's life took a drastic turn.

My name is Bryce Laine, and I am a journeyman wireman for the IBEW Local 474. I’m raising money for brother Brandon Fisher. Brandon was at an old coworker’s house visiting with some friends from before he joined the Union. Very unexpectedly, one of them shot him twice in the stomach in a robbery attempt on September 19th.

Brandon has been in and out of The Med in downtown Memphis with complications since September. He has an ECF, which is an enterocutaneous fistula, which causes him to leak stomach fluid. Due to his stomach, Brandon can’t put a shirt on. He has not been able to work since this horrible tragedy occurred. He has had two surgeries and has one more big surgery ahead of him. He didn’t get approved for at-home health, so he is having to do everything on his own. He goes to Option Care once a week to get his dressing changed and blood drawn, which is 100 dollars a week out of pocket. Brandon is expected to be able to go back to work in roughly a year.

I am starting this GoFundMe to help let Brandon know he is not alone. Anything that you can help with is greatly appreciated and will be going towards medical expenses and his bills so he can still have a place to stay and a car when he gets back at it.

I also would like to do something for his twin sister, who hasn’t had a day off since Brandon was shot. She has been working overtime to make sure her brother is okay and has everything he needs. Thinking about getting her a spa day of some sort with a portion of the proceeds.
