Brandon Cabrera joined our team this fall as a freshman walk-on, determined to make a difference both on and off the court. From the very beginning, Brandon stood out—not just for his athletic ability, but for his work ethic and commitment. He’s the guy who sets up the net before practice and takes it down after, often while others are already heading home. His dedication to volleyball and his teammates is clear in everything he does, and he’s always striving to get better, no matter the challenge.
Recently, Brandon faced an unexpected setback. He came down with chicken pox, which led to a hospital stay and medical bills he simply can’t afford. On top of that, his university tuition bill for the semester just arrived, adding even more financial pressure. Because of these challenges, Brandon has had to make the difficult decision to step away from the team so he can find a job and start paying off his debt. It’s heartbreaking to see someone so hardworking and passionate have to put his dreams on hold.
We’re coming together to support Brandon in this difficult moment. Every dollar raised will go directly to him to help cover his hospital bills and, hopefully, some of his tuition for the semester. If you’re able, please consider helping Brandon get back on his feet and back on the court where he belongs. Your support means the world to him and to all of us who have seen his dedication firsthand.
