Hi everyone,

We are just a couple of the many friends of the wonderful owners of Chit Chat Cafes at Manor and at the Pier, Branden and Ginger. Branden recently received a lifesaving kidney and pancreas transplant after living with adult-onset diabetes 1 and a rare autoimmune disease that led to a need for at home dialysis daily. The good news is the diabetes is now gone, and his kidneys are functioning wonderfully!!! However, recovery is a long road, and the journey has just begun. Branden will be out of work for several months. While Branden is healing, Ginger will also need to be a part of his recovery process. This means that the cafes will be running on limited hours and menus.

Branden and Ginger have not only run a welcoming business that carries on with old school Pacifica charm but also provides a space for the community to come together for art, music and connection. All with an amazing view of the ocean, sea birds and whales! And now they need our help!

Donations will cover expenses incurred by loss of revenue so that they can keep Chit Chat open, continue to pay staff and will help with any other additional expenses incurred during this time. Please help support Branden and Ginger and their very special business by donating what you can.
