My name is Braelynn Sprinkle, and I am 8 years old. This past year marked my first experience competing in gymnastics, and I am thrilled to share that I placed first in all areas across five competitions. In May, I had the incredible opportunity to compete at the nationals in Daytona Beach, where I placed 13th place in all areas due to me recovering from a surgery I’ve had a month before. Despite that rough time for me, I was able to show up for my team and put my all in to my performances. I have a total of 19 metals with 11 of them being Gold, and I also have won Queen of uneven bars, beam, floor and session at the 2024 SC AAU District Competition.
As previously stated, earlier this year I underwent surgery to address a condition called Russell Silver Syndrome Asymmetric which caused my right leg to grow three times faster than my left. With screws and metal plates placed in my over grown leg to help with my alignment and dedicated physical therapy, I persevered through a challenging recovery to continue pursuing my passion for gymnastics.
I am determined to compete again this year and I am in need of $5,000 in sponsorship support as well as travel expenses and uniforms. Your assistance would help me continue chasing my dreams and achieving my goals in gymnastics.
Thank you for considering my request.
Sincerely,
Braelynn Sprinkle
