Support Brady Westrick's Pro-Life March Journey

Donation protected
My name is Brady Westrick. I am a senior at New Iberia Senior High. I have been an alter server at St. Peter's Catholic Church in New Iberia since 2017. Every January, teens from our church who attend Catholic High have the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C. and attend the Pro-Life march. This year they opened the trip up for students attending public school as well.
The Pro-Life movement is very important to me. My little sister Maddie had Down Syndrome and was born with a heart defect. She passed away at 7-months-old in October 2018. She was made in God's image and brought joy to our entire family. In the U.S. between 67-92% of babies that are diagnosed with Down Syndrome are aborted before even having the opportunity to live. This is tragic and I want to do whatever I can to spread Maddie's message because I know it makes a difference. I want to be the voice of the voiceless and use my voice to defend life.
I know this has been a very difficult year from my parents financially. Between me getting my driver's license and insurance, unexpected car repairs, our AC needing to be replaced, and the day to day needs of my 5 siblings, I know money is tight. I want to be able to go to the pro-life march, but not have it be a financial burden to my parents.
We will be flying to New York City and then taking a train to Washington D.C. to participate in the March. The trip is going to cost about $1,300. I know they hope to do some fund raisers to offset some of the cost, so anything I raise in excess of that amount will go to help others who might be in a similar position.
