UPDATE 11/30/25: Brady is back in the hospital and starting chemo tomorrow. The cancer has returned and spread to different parts of his body. He has a few months of chemo ahead of him and then more surgeries. Keep sending good vibes and love.

UPDATE 10/07/25: Brady underwent two surgeries, plus a very lengthy hospital stay in mid-September. As of today, he’s doing really well, but unfortunately is headed back in for another surgery today! He still needs our help! Half of these funds have gone to previous treatments & we still have a long road ahead of us as B will be starting radiation therapy soon. We also need to make sure he has the financial support to get rest/healing time without having to rush back to work. We’ve got this!

Hi, I'm Tiffany Promise, lead vocalist of SNATCHWITCH & a close friend of Brady Black's. Our beloved Brady was diagnosed with Dedifferentiated Liposarcoma.

Here’s a bit more detail:

• A biopsy (tiny piece of tissue) was taken.

• Under the microscope, the doctors found dedifferentiated liposarcoma, which is a rare type of cancer that starts in fat tissue. Unlike regular lipomas (benign/fatty lumps), this is malignant, meaning it can grow and spread.

• The extra molecular test (MDM2 gene test) came back positive, which confirms the diagnosis of liposarcoma.

*Why it matters*

• This confirms cancer, not a benign lump.

• The diagnosis gives doctors important information to plan treatment: immediate surgery, possibly followed by radiation or chemotherapy, depending on how advanced it is and whether it has spread.

• Liposarcoma can come back (recur), so doctors will likely suggest ongoing monitoring after treatment.
