Early in the morning on November 22nd, at around 3 a.m., Brad and his fiancée, Serenity, were tragically shot by their roommate, Deante Hawthorne, in their home in Moore, Oklahoma. After this horrific act, the suspect went on a crime spree that claimed even more lives.

Brad survived after being shot in the finger, chest, and stomach while trying to protect the woman he loved. Serenity tragically did not survive. Brad is now facing the unimaginable — healing from life-threatening injuries while grieving the loss of his fiancée and the future they were building together.

Brad does not currently have medical insurance, and the costs of treatment, time away from work, and basic living expenses are overwhelming. Our goal is to relieve as much stress as possible so he can focus on both his physical recovery and the deep emotional healing ahead.
