Help My Son Bradley Fight a Brain Tumor – Urgent Appeal

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,

I never imagined I’d be writing this. As a father, you always want to protect your child, to be their rock, their provider. But today, I find myself in a place I never thought I’d be. Now I am pleading for help to save my son’s life.

My name is Fredrick Ochieng, and my 13-year-old son, Bradley Hermann Ochieng, is my world. He is amazing, full of life, and was thriving in school, dreaming of his future. But two months ago, our lives took a heartbreaking turn.

It started with his eyesight; he struggled to see clearly, with his right eye shifting to the left, and had difficulty balancing, walking, and even writing. Concerned, we sought medical attention and got him prescription glasses, hoping it was just a minor issue. He went back to school, but within a week, his condition worsened. He could no longer move without support, and now he is at risk of becoming wheelchair-bound.

As a parent, watching your child deteriorate before your eyes is a pain I can’t put into words. We rushed from one doctor to another, desperately looking for answers. Finally, after multiple tests and an MRI, we got the devastating news that Bradley has a brain tumor.

The tumor is in a delicate area, making surgery extremely risky. The doctors have advised urgent radiotherapy as his best chance to fight this. But the cost is overwhelming, and time is slipping away. I have always worked hard as a freelance photographer and filmmaker to provide for my family. I have exhausted my savings and am now selling my cameras and equipment as I am doing everything I can to raise funds. But it’s still not enough. And so, with a heavy heart, I am asking for your help.
