Support Bradley's Stroke Recovery Journey
Donation protected
As parents, nothing prepares us for the unimaginable. Watching your child face a life-threatening medical emergency.
On Friday, May 30th, five-year-old Bradley - a bright, energetic, and kind-hearted little boy, suffered a pediatric stroke. What began as a normal day quickly turned into a terrifying experience for his family and those who love him. After spending days in the hospital undergoing tests, MRI's, Echocardiogram, blood tests and initial treatments (blood thinners), Bradley has just been released from Sick Kids Hospital and is beginning the long road of recovery at home.
Bradley will require ongoing rehabilitation, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and many other specialized services that are not fully covered under OHIP. His recovery will be unpredictable, and the road ahead will be physically, emotionally, and financially challenging for his family.
His incredible mom, Stefanie, has understandably taken time off work to care for Bradley full-time, be by his side through therapy sessions, and support him every step of the way.
As a fellow school mom and friend, connected through both our children at school and extracurriculars- I’ve seen firsthand the strength and love this family carries. But no family should have to face something like this alone.
We’re rallying together as a community of friends, neighbours, and parents to support Bradley’s journey to healing. The funds raised will go directly toward:
Ongoing rehabilitation & therapy sessions
Medical supplies and assistive devices
Transportation to and from therapy appointments
Daily care needs during Stefanie’s time away from work
And any unforeseen expenses on this journey to recovery
Bradley has a long road ahead — but he’s not walking it alone. Let’s come together and champion this little fighter with the same love and support he’s given to everyone around him.
Please consider donating, sharing, or even just leaving a message of encouragement for Bradley and his family. Every gesture helps.
