Support Bradee's Life-Saving Surgery

My first dog that I have had since she was 7 weeks old was born on March 28, 2014 and is 10 years old.

Sadly, she has been diagnosed with having a condition called Laryngeal Paralysis.

This condition will require surgery and surgery can be very technically difficult, often requiring a board-certified specialist, a specialty veterinarian to perform it.

Bradee was diagnosed by her regular vet at Banfield in Kildeer, IL and the 2nd opinion was at Veterinary Specialty Center which is located in Bannockburn, IL.

The rough estimate that I received was $9,000. On-line it shows the cost should be less, however not the case at least in Illinois.

The surgery requires her to be sedated, she will have to stay overnight at the specialty center hospital along with receiving medication, iv’s, etc, etc.

She needs this surgery and without it will result in the collapse of the corniculate process with airway obstruction.

Taking a deep breath becomes impossible, and the pet basically suffocates.

I am reaching out for help. This is hard for me because I am the person people come to for help, but Bradee or any animal is more important than my pride or embarrassment.
