Hi Everyone,

As many of you know, Brad Ylitalo and his family received some devastating news recently. Unfortunately, Brad has been diagnosed with both liver and colon cancer, which requires immediate treatment.

For those of you who know Brad, he is an extraordinary human being. He is a devoted husband to Rachel, father of six (Haley, James, Hannah, Billy, Darby, and Andrew), son, brother, and friend. He is hardworking and dedicated to his family-run lawn care and snow business, where he previously worked every day. No matter what your relationship is with Brad, you know that he is genuine, generous, and someone who would not hesitate to give you the shirt off his back.

Anyone who knows Brad and his family is aware that asking for help, especially money, is not a part of his DNA. Brad is an incredibly kind man with an insatiable work ethic and a devotion to helping others. So, when we proposed a GoFundMe for him and his family, we were met with stiff resistance. However, we--as friends of Brad and his family--decided to make this page to support his family when it became clear that Brad cannot work at his previous capacity as he navigates this and will need financial support in light of the mounting bills and exploding medical expenses his family of eight face in the road ahead to combat the progression of this fast-moving cancer.

Brad has aggressive therapy and surgeries ahead of him. Like all cancer, the outcome is never guaranteed, but those of us who know Brad know he is a fighter.
