Brad and my sister Venicia Lentz have been together 30 years and as many of you know, Brad Sanchez suffered a severe ICH Stroke on Sunday 12/14. He is currently in Neuroscience ICU at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He has had brain surgery to put in a drain to relieve the pressure in his brain and is currently on a ventilator. He is slowly starting to respond, however is not fully conscious and will probably need a 2nd brain surgery. We don't know what the future will hold but it is going to be a long and challenging road. The family has been overwhelmed, as you can imagine, and this fund is to help with the financial impacts and any medical expenses that will be forthcoming. His partner of 30 years is trying to deal with a lot of her own health issues and trying to plan for what is to come with Brad. Brad's children and family would like to send out their most sincere thanks to the love and support they have received and are continuing to receive. Please continue to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
I will be providing updates on this post with regards to Brad continued medical issues.
UPDATE - 1/1
Brad did have a 2nd Brain surgery and a shunt drain was put in place. Hoping this helps relieve additional fluid and we see some improvement.
Brad can have visitors but only 2 people at a time in the ICU. He is at Harbor View Medical Center. His family is encouraging people to go visit, talk to him and reminisce. Brad might not be able to respond but that doesn’t mean he can’t hear you. We want him to know how much love and support he has and will continue to have. Thank you
UPDATE 1/4
Brad will be having another surgery for his shunt drain tomorrow. However, the family is starting to see Brad move more. Hoping it continues. Thanks to all for your donations, love and support.
UPDATE 1/7 - I got an update from Brad’s daughter. He is not needing the ventilator as much but it is still in, just in case of an emergency. He is not sedated but still not conscious. The shunt drain is working like expected but we are hoping for more improvement in his consciousness. Keep pushing Brad. We are all praying for you.
1/21/2026- We will forever be thankful that you were in our lives, we love you and we will miss you. Rest in Peace. Prayers to your family.
