Help Support Brad and Sara During This Difficult Time

For the last seven months, Brad has been bravely battling pulmonary embolisms and deep vein thromboses (DVTs). Despite countless appointments, treatments, and hospital stays, the fight continues.

They are currently back at ECU Health, where recent scans revealed three new blood clots — one in his renal vein, one in the lumbar spine area, and another in his lungs. This marks his third hospital admission and surgery. The road to recovery is far from over.

Unfortunately, with so much time spent in and out of the hospital, both Brad and Sara have exhausted all of their paid time off. Once Brad is released, there will be numerous follow-up appointments with specialists and continued time away from work as he heals.

This fundraiser was created to help ease the financial burden of medical expenses, travel, and lost income during this incredibly stressful time.
